After Stonehenge, we got back on the bus and went to the city of Bath. The plan was to go on a quick 30 minute walk with the tourguide to get our bearings, then split up for lunch. Then, if you wanted to, you could meet up with the guide to go on an optional walking tour of some of the major sights of Bath or just walk around on your own before meeting back with the tour guide to go into the actual Roman Baths. However, since the tour guide was more concerned with speediness than giving a good tour, being nice, or even keeping track of everyone, he lost half of the group part of the way through the getting your bearings walk. We managed to find someone after a little bit who knew when we were supposed to meet at the Baths, but since we didn't know where or when to meet the guide for the optional tour, we couldn't go on that like we wanted to.

Shannon and I walked around trying to find food for lunch (it was already 2pm by the time we got to Bath and we were quite hungry.) We settled upon a small coffee shop on Pevensy Bridge (a bridge with shops lining it...so cool!) where Shannon got a sandwich and I got a jacket potato with beans and cheese.
After that, we walked down to the river and walked along it until we reached the next bridge where we could come back up to street level. After that, we walked to Bath Abbey and took some pictures of the outside, although we didn't have time to go inside.

Then we went to a Ben and Jerry's that was across from the Roman Baths while waiting for the tourguide.
After that, we went through the baths and met back at the bus (only 55 minutes later...grr!) to head back to Sussex Uni.
